For Adults

     Several programs are available for our adult patrons.

  • Adult book discussion group
    Meetings are every four to six weeks on a Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. The book discussion group reads a common book and then the members are invited to join in a discussion of that book. This group also participates in the "All Iowa Reads" programs each year. The public is invited to join the group at anytime.  
  • Computer Classes/ Internet Classes
    Computer/tablet/smart phones classes are offered on a 1-1 basis throughout the year in 15 min-1/2 an hour intervals.The classes are free of charge. Call the library for details, to request a class or for more information. 
  • Bingo Bingo is on the third Wednesday of every month at 10am,       

     September through May.  We do not have Bingo in June, July, or 

     August due to the summer reading program.  Bingo is free and open       to all adults with fun prizes for game winners, coffee and treats.

  • Special Interest Speaker or Classes                                              Call or stop by the library to request a specific speaker or class.  These programs are held occasionally.
