Interlibrary Loan

Our library is connected to other libraries throughout the state and nation. If you can't find an item in this library, ask library staff to help you get it from another library.

Patrons may borrow materials from other libraries. A request may be made in person, by phone, email or by mail.  All requests will be processed in a timely manner.

There is no fee for Interlibrary Loans, however, if the borrowing patron loses or damages the materials, they must pay full value for that borrowed item.

Most borrowed materials may be checked out for one month. If a renewal is needed, a request will be made from the borrowing library for an extension.

SILO - Interlibrary Loan  - materials may be borrowed from other libraries within the State of Iowa. If the State of Iowa database does not own a title you want then the librarian can borrow materials from a national database. Contact your librarian for information.
